It is extremely hot these few days. Thus, we thought it will be good to share this Mango Green Tea Lemonade to all. It is the perfect thirst quencher for these long hot days period.
Sweet mangoes pair perfectly with sour lemons and the bright taste of green tea making this drink both refreshing and addictive.
For the Green Tea:
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
- Add tea bags to water and let steep for 5 minutes
- Squeeze and remove tea bags from water.
- Add 2 cups of cold water and simple syrup. (You may want to start with ¼ cup simple syrup and adjust sweetness to you liking.)
- Stir to combine.
For the Mango Puree:
- Peel, pit and chop mangoes.
- Place the mangoes, stevia and lemon juice in a food processor and process until smooth.
- (Adjust sweetener and lemon juice to your taste preference. Start with a small amount and increase to your liking)
- Place the puree in a sieve or cheesecloth and strain to remove all the pulp.
- Yield 1½ cups puree.
Then, place lemonade, green tea and mango puree in a pitcher and stir to combine. Hope you guys will enjoy it as much as we do. ^_^
